Unlove Quality of life with Hydrocephalus

My 6 week old Yorkie was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. She looked different the day she was born. She had a Mohawk. Her head wasn't the same. As time went on her development was slow. What is the quality of life for a dog with hydrocephalus? With stunts and without stunts? Meds? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I need help deciding what to do. The vet told me that I’ll know when it is time to put her down. He did not prescribe Prednisone, Omeprazole, or Lasix. He did give me a neurologists phone number, but told me I not obligated to call him.
