I feel bad for the people of Punta Gorda who are just beginning to get their lives back together and are preparing for another hurricane.

The only silver lining I can see at this point is that the strength is anticipated to diminish to about 105 mph winds (Cat 2) at landfall.

I pray for the safety of everyone and hope they will begin evacuating NOW and not wait until the path becomes more defined.
