(Note to self...read when Taffy is not minding her manners!)

Ten things I love about Taffy:

1. How she knows I don't love licking so she touches my nose with her nose (reminds me of what we called Eskimo kisses as a child)
2. How she plays with a toy or chews on a bully stick with her front paws on the floor and butt in air
3. How she plays Superman...faster than a speeding bullet
4. How she makes us laugh aloud with her funny antics like carrying her bed on her head/back and walking across the floor looking like a gigantic turtle with not even her paws showing
5. How she gives us the pouty "cold shoulder" when we come back after a short trip without her
6. How she literally gets up and moves away with such an air of disdain when I start singing to her
7. How she jumps in and out of the Moses basket filled with toys to get to the other side instead of going around it
8. How she becomes a total rag doll when she's sleepy and looks like Southern road kill as she sprawls out to sleep
9. How she puts her paw down on her toy when we try to get it to play another round of fetch and how she carries the last toy with her while she goes to fetch the next one
10. How she carries her favorite treat (real mini carrots) in the side of her mouth looking like a little old man chewing on the stump of a cigar reminding us of a little old country doctor we used to know growing up

Awww...only ten? When she's not playing "catch me if you can," she's a delight! (Should have mentioned how exasperated she gets with us when her ice cube "toy" has mysteriously disappeared from where she hid it and how irritated she gets at us sometimes when we're laughing at her antics...generally when she was serious about her digging and hiding her stash of bully bones or carrots.)
