Am I using the wrong shampoo, or is this how it is w/yorkies? I brush Apple's hair, every morning, band up her top-not, and in 10 or 15 minutes, she looks like a raggamuffin? She's 6 1/2 months old, and I just wondered if it's her baby hair (the black hair), and not her new hair (the silver hair) that looks unkempt so soon after her brushing? I was thinking about getting the black hair cut off, about 2 inches, and leaving the silver hair, about 2 inches, but I keep my house pretty cool at night, and thought she might need it for warmth? Is this the norm w/the york'sters?
