Tucker came from parents that were 4 pounds, he was 5 pounds at 4 months old..lol.. I honestly didnt think that he would get to much bigger because his body size is so small, well I wieghed him the other day and I was shocked to find out that he was almost 9 pounds!! He isnt fat by any means, just solid as a rock.He is sooo short and cobby that Im afraid that he will have issues down the road with his hips and stuff. He is almost 8 months old so he is still considered a puppy and I have honestly thought about cutting back on his food but he still on a occasion throws up in the morning because his tummy is empty . So I still need to continue to free feed. He doesnt eat a ton, him and my toy poodle share 1 cup a food a day and most of the time there is food still in thier bowl at the end of the day. I also give them a teaspoon or two of wet food at night as a treat. So should I worry about his size or is this the size he was meant to be???
Im sorry OP that i highjacked your thread..
