Different pet insurance companies cover different things, and some focus on wellness visits and vaccines and such, while others just cover injuries and illnesses. I think the ones that focus more on injury and illness are the better deal-- anyone can budget for yearly visits and vaccinations, but emergency surgeries and cataclysmic illnesses are another story.
