when I first got ruby she would go to the toilet everywhere and I really did not want that to happen so I confined her to the kitchen during the day and with myself and her toys when I got home in the evening and never took my eyes off her and praised her to the roof when she went on the paper repeating "good girl" and "wee wee on the paper" and showing her the paper until I was blue in the face. However after 2 weeks it must have finally clicked because she was house trained after that. So giving up 2 weeks really paid off! So much so, that now if we go anywhere to visit I just have to put a bit of paper down and show her where and she goes on it and runs to tell me when she has been |
