I am using an Andis clipper with blade that came with it.
The clipper blade moves in three different lengths.
Threw trial and error I found that the highest setting, whatever that
may be along with the plastic 1/4" comb attachment gives me a 1/4"
shaved back. I have used the 1/8" comb which was too close to the
skin which is why I questioned the 7" blades.
This clipper dosen't go threw Buddy thick neck hair and he has a
silky coat. It does but I need to use the scissors for make it a clean
cut. Even holding the skin taunt it has problems getting threw the
hair. I want to purchase a Oster Turbo A5, single speed.
I don't need the two speeds. He's not afraid of sound and is easy to
groom except for contant sitting when I need to do his butt.
He is butt senstivie
