Bless your heart for taking her in. Some people don't deserve to have animals. I went to look at a little 1 yr. old 2.2 lb yorkie about a month ago. She was not exactly what I wanted (I wanted a black/tan) but she was just skin and bones and I felt so sorry for her and brought her home. She is so sweet and in a weeks time had gained to 2.8 lbs. I have not taken her back to the vet but I'll bet she weighs 3 lb now. I hope you keep this little dog and show her the kind of love she was misssing.
