My suggestion to you would be to send her an email letting her know you are gonna come by and see if you can help her figure out what is wrong with him. Then go see her. I think if you are there showing her what she should be doing that she may get what you are telling her. I can't say whether you need to take the puppy back or not it all depends on what you see when you get there. You can read and do as much research as possible on the breed but sometimes you need hands on experience too. First time Moms sometimes have difficuties in the beginning when they bring their babies home from the hospital.
