He had never had any problems eating and was a happy and outgoing pup here. Immediately she contacted me the day she brought him home to say that he would not eat. I instructed her how to feed him (also discussed and in writing in his paperwork prior to sale). This included what to mix in his dry kibble and also a tube of Nutrical that she had purchased to supplement twice per day. The next day she contacted me again to say that he was still not eating. She also took him to the vet who did not note anything abnormal during his wellness exam. He did not receive any vaccines. I again instructed her what to do and asked her if she had spoken to her vet about her concerns. She did not answer me (this was via email). I assumed that the puppy was fine and did not hear from her yesterday. This morning I emailed her again to ask about his condition and she informed me that he is acting sleepy and will not lift his head, and also that she has been just feeding the dry kibble and nutrical. She did not try any of the things I suggested. I immediately attempted to call her with no answer so I replied to her email in capital letters. I explained that he is having a sugar drop and that if she could not bring him back out of it with the nutrical or syrup that she has available at her home that she should bring him to the vet immediately.
I am extremely concerned about this puppy. What would cause a larger 3 lb, 12 week old pup to have a hypoglycemic episode when he never had any here. He was always the biggest and ate the best. The other two pups from the litter are having no issues with eating, and both were smaller. I understand that things can happen but I am concerned about the level of care the pup is receiving if this has been allowed to happen. This is not an extremely tiny puppy. I let him go with no worries. The lady seemed great and I had checked her references and spoken with her vet, there were no red flags. I have twice offered to take back the puppy or even take him back for a short amount of time until he is a bit older and can adjust more easily. I have been ignored both times. Do I have a right to be worried? Is there anything more I can do? I am afraid that next I will get a call that he has died.
thanks for any advice

If you have a phone number for her I would call, not everyone checks their email all the time. If she lives close suggest you going over there to take a look at the puppy since it is hard to advise her on what to do over the phone. Maybe she will let you come over and then you can discuss things in person.
