Toby is 7 pounds and he fits fine under the seat. Just make sure he's in an airline approved bag, and I would suggest "clipping" your baby to the lead in the carrier. My baby escaped when he was about 6 months old and had a jolly time running all around the airplane. Unfortunately, they do not let you board early. But make sure you make your reservations for him early, as they limit the number of pets allowed on the flight. I'm sure the holiday time will fill up fast with people taking their pets along.
I don't give mine anything to sedate him. When he was younger, he cried for a few minutes, but then settled down and went to sleep. |
