I hadn't heard of a belly band until yesterday. In fact I thought this was something I had to live with until someone at Petsmart mentioned it was a behavioral issue. Havin had rescue dogs and fostering schnauzers that have had real issues it never dawned on me that Charlie would have a behavioral problem as even though he wasn't trained he wasn't abused nor neglected. I do give him credit on picking up the doggie door within a day or two. ( I think he couldn't stand that something might be going on out there that he wasn't a part of) aside from that maybe it is me but Yorkies don't seem to be the brightest breed. (Don't throw anything, I love my Yorkie to death)

So Belly Band? Do they hurt? Is this something he will learn to stop with the belly band? Do I leave this on all the time? (I saw one post that they keep it on 24/7) Will he just hate it and chew it off? Is there some training I can do with him while he wears the band so that we can ween him off?
