Congratuations on your new addition. I have no advice about the silk/cotton coats but i'm sure you will get plenty of info on that here. If your not able to see this breeders home/kennel in person then please make sure to research them as much as you can beforehand. Google is a great tool, google their phone number, names, kennel name, email address. If there are complaints out there you will find them easily that way. And if there aren't that isn't always a guarentee that the breeder is a good breeder. Make sure your getting a health guarentee in your contract with the breeder and that you see this before you see you receive your puppy. Also, is it possible for you to fly out to pick up your pupppy? Then you could see where your pup has been raised and what type of conditions there are and as a bonus the parents would be on site. if you do all these things you can either rest easy and know that you have a great puppy from a breeder that you can trust, or if nothing feels right you can always walk away. Roundtrip airfaire would be a lot less money then if you get a puppy with health issues, or a puppy that wasn't the one you were expecting.
Of course after saying all that, maybe you have found this breeder throughah someone referral and it will be aOk
