This may seem harsh,but the mother bird will hopefully learn to build her nest in a different tree and possibly much higher and better hidden on the next try. This may have been her first nest. Wild folk have a harder life than we do! Most likely she and poppa bird will try again before summer. Hopefully, new babies will not be viewble in the old ficus. Maybe the snake will go after field mice the next time
