I've flown Song many times, and the only thing I do is make sure I get a window seat. It seems like on their planes, the aisle seat doesn't have a wide enough space for Toby's carrier. I have the "wheeled backpack" one, and it's wider than my "Sherpa." The one thing I would advise you to do, is to hook his harness or collar to the inside of the carrier. (most of them have a hook to do this with) Toby dug the zippers open once and escaped. He made it back about 11 rows before someone spotted my little "Houdini." I don't give him anything to "calm" him down. When he was little, he would cry for a few minutes, but then just went to sleep. Now, he just settles down, and waits til we've landed. Enjoy your trip... it is so much better when you can take your baby with you! I'm going to the UK next week, so I'll be missing him like crazy! |
