This is so horrible, and so totally unacceptable. Make them pay! I know that no amount can cover your loss, but people need to THINK once in a while. And a lot of money out of pocket is the only thing some people pay attention to. This never should have happened. Your pup should have been immediately scooped up in arms and put safely in a cage or kennel. This is really inexcusable. Thanks for the reminder. My dogs will go dirty before I leave them anywhere to be groomed.
RIP Buddy but may the loss of you not go unnoticed. May the shear terror of it all save another's life. May we err on the side of safety and overprotectiveness, and not assume big dogs are okay because their owners or others say so, and we don't want to appear silly. From now on I will stand my ground and demand the respect that my dogs deserve but are too little to command for themselves.
