Call the airline you are going to fly on to get their rules and regulations and then be sure to follow them to a "T". Health papers and up to date vaccinations are required as well as an airline aproved crate that will fit under your seat.

Peppy recently flew from Washington State (his birth place) to Georgia (his forever home) with my husband. He was 7 months old and weighed 2 lbs. 12 ounces. Because he was required to stay in the crate and under the seat, hubby took his shoe and sock off and offered his big toe as a chew toy, and to snuggle up to. We selected to fly Delta because they seemed to be the most accomodating for pets in the cabin. GOOD LUCK!
