Hmmm. Can you take him for a walk say around the block? Sometimes Zander acts like he doesn't neeeed to go but I know he does, so I take him for a walk, we barely get to the corner (2 houses down) and he is going. The other thing I would suggest is put a pad inside the home, perhaps close to the door, for a just in case. I would also watch when he goes #2, tell him good boy poop, give him a treat, continue this so that you can tell him to go poop and in my furbabies case, they poop on command and pi too. Maybe it may work for you. Good luck.
