Please make sure you and your husband always carry Muzzle (mace for dogs) whenever you are walking your dogs. Simply picking them up won't stop an attacking dog. Most likely the human will get bitten also. I'm sure it was the shock collars that stopped these dogs.
You were very, very lucky that the owner was right there. I hope you reported the incident. Whether the owner left the dogs alone for a minute or an hour, they were unsupervised and unrestrained. The next victim might not be so lucky. |
