I hauled her back in the kayak and as she shook off, she knocked out a scupper plug and the kayak filled with water. I pulled up onto a small stretch of beach to unload and dump the water out. She went absolutely bonkers in the sand. She was such a mess I had to dunk her in the river to clean her up enough to put her back in the kayak! All in all, we had a blast. Can't wait till the rain stops to go again!
P.S. As goofy as she got in the sand, I think goggles would have come off. I usually have saline eye rinse or natural tears on hand for human and dog use. | Did she look something like this? We have googles but we use them on the motercycle to keep the wind out of her eyes.
