My dog is the same. Im not really sure why he does this but he too jumps the gate and then pees all around the house. My mom says that hes mad that we left him but im really not sure. He is very attached to everyone in the hous hold. He is potty trained but when we leave him and dont put him in his crate he goes all around the house and on all of the carpets. The really hard thing is that when someone rescues a dog they have no idea what there life was like before. So that is always part of it.
I've been trying to leave the house and just to go outside and let my dog know that it is not acceptable to bark and cry when I am out of sight. Also I try to leave him with a really nice new toy and treat that he only has when im gone. |
