Piper's breeder did the right thing.
My contract says I will assist up to the price of the dog for genetic ailments or will replace with a new puppy. Of course, as a breeder I will want my vet to talk to your vet. I do require written information from my buyer's vets and a necropsy if a puppy or a dog dies suddenly.
And yes, buyers sometimes do try to scam the breeder. |
