In all seriousness, I really think this is a honest mistake on the non Yorkie owners and (truth be told) new Yorkie owners like myself. Now that I own one and have found YT, I know a lot more than I did when I bought Sophie 5 months ago. (And I thought I had done my research!). |

i thought 'teacup' was a diff. category as well when i was first looking for a dog. but that's because that's what i was told. (my friend had a small dog and he told me it was a 'teacup' dog, i never owned a dog before and didn't know that much about dogs) and once i learned that it's all a marketing ploy i felt that i should let others know that it's not really a category, but it is really hard. a lot of people firmly believe that it is a different category.
