But then again, from my understanding 1/5 of the milbemycin oxime in Interceptor would control heartworms. They add the other 4/5 for intestinal worms. I think there is a safe heart dose available (not in the US) for just heartworms. So those who want to protect against heartworms alone are overdosing by 4/5.
