My 9 yo yorkie, Tia has developed a black patch on the tip of her tongue. It's in the centre and very blotchy in shape, and not bigger than a pencil eraser in diameter.

I've done a bunch of research and the only thing that I can find is a diet that is lacking in Niacine can cause this. I feed her Evo low fat, so I don't think this is the cause. Does anyone else have any ideas?
