I had to go on a business trip this week. I was gone from Monday morning until Wednesday night. When I got home, Ramsey greeted me, but not very enthusiastically.
He and DH went to bed while I stayed up and watched the finale of Lost. When I went to bed, DH reached over and put Ramsey on my side (where he usually sleeps). He promptly got up and went back over to DH's side. During the night he usually comes up and sleeps on my pillow, right next to my head. He didn't do that last night. After DH got up, he came up and slept on HIS pillow, away from me.
Then, when I came home tonight his greeting was just to walk up to me and lay in my arms when I picked him up. It hit me that he might be giving me the 'cold shoulder' for leaving him.
He seems better now. He's curled up beside me on the couch, sleeping.
I just wondered if anyone else's Yorkie acts like this if they've been away.
