Vomiting and diarrhea always warrent a trip to the vet - in my opinion. Rowdy sometimes will throw up, and that can be caused by overeating (when he was little) or eating grass (usually a sign their tummy is not feeling good) or ingesting some BUG or something like that. In the absence of diarrhea, I always wait on the vomiting and it usually resolved itself with no intervention. BUT, vomiting and diarrhea are my indicator that Rowdy needs to go to the vet. Also, how is he acting? is he eating? is he playing? does he act like he feels good or bad? Rowdy has had diarrhea (no vomit) for a day or so and did not act like he felt bad at all and I waited, and it resolved itself. But in our experience, vomiting and diarrhea always needed intervention.
