Yes I agree with JoeyP you must claim the door. Even when you are inside your home, you always lead and they follow you through every doorway, that's good practice for when it comes time to try the front door.

Also you need to teach the stay command. have your baby sit, and back away from her slowly with a flat open hand command (palm to her, fingers upward) while saying "stay" hold it for a second or two, and COME BACK TO HER and say good stay and reward. Do not say "good stay" and have her come to you, then she will think stay means to stay for a bit then come running back. Keep training with you going farther away each time. When she gets that, try doing it with your back towards her. Now my Uni will stay at the front door of my shop with the door open, even if people wallk by and she will stay. Good luck!
