I know how you feel
Pixie & me get it all the time wherever we go and it can be infuriating and frustrating. On a recent holiday I took Pixie everywhere with me and on one particular day she was called a rat no less than 4 times!
I was very calm & controlled and carried on walking very proudly with my nose in the air..probably annoys them more than anything..in the past I have been less controlled and let it get to me..i'm learning how to deal with these idiots now.
On the other hand she gets alot of positive attention too..people stop me all the time to ask about her and say how pretty & cute she is, so its not all bad i guess!
