what happens to puppy mill puppies when a puppy mill has puppies most of the time they have to have a UDA licence to sell to pet stores and Brokers. when they sell to brokers they have to list the whole litter with the broker when the puppies are born. When the puppies are 8wks old the broker either picks the puppies up or meets them somehwere to pick the puppies up the breeder gives the broker all the puppies papers and the broker already has those puppies resold to pet stores and the puppies are shipped to the pet stores. thats why most yorkies in pet stores grow bigger when a yorkie has to leave at 8wks old they have to be big enough to do that you could never let a tiny yorkie go at 8wks old they are not old enough to even sell at this point and a certain amount of vaccinations have to be given to puppies before they leave to go to a broker and you can not vaccinate tiny puppies this early they will die. the brokerers usually pay around $200.00 dollars a puppy. |
