We have an almost 9-yr old male, neutered, registered, 5 lb yorkie. He did NOT transition well with baby #1 and baby #2 will be arriving soon, so we are looking to re-home him. Being 100% honest, he will NOT go to a home with small kids or other pets. He also doesn't like men since our house was broken into and he was home alone at the time. The ideal home is a single woman who has time to let him out. He is crate trained. He had bladder stones removed 3 years ago and needs to be let out every 4-5 hours during the day and can do a 9-10 hour stretch overnight. He is on a Rx food that can only be purchased from a vet, but is not expensive. Ironically, the yorkie rescue groups are not responding to my requests and if we don't find a home within one week, we are going to put him down. There is a rehoming fee to cover the food, leash, toys, crate, etc. Took this picture last year; his hair is cut very short right now.
