I have read of paw licking being a sign of allergies. Do you have to free feed? When I'm taking care of my son's dog, I always make each of the sit before I place the bowls down. I don't allow them to touch the others bowl. If you have to free feed that causes a problem, but it sounds like Sadie needs a kibble she likes better.
