While many dogs do well on a certain food, there's always the exception. Another cause for skin itchiness, is not rinsing thoroughly, be sure to really rinse well after shampooing and always use a good conditioner as it conditions the skin as well as the hair.
Sadie is eating Joey's RC Hepatic 14 prescription kibble because she refuses to eat her own kibble. SHe is doing a lot of paw licking, a new habit. Could that be allergies? The liver support group recommended I feed her NB Vegetarian so if Joey accidentally eats it, it won't be so bad for him. Has anyone tried that? Supposed to be good for allergies?
