Default First Dog, First Yorkie, First Headache.

Hey guys, my name is Elvis and I'm 19 years old and i recently bought my first yorkie about 4 -5 days ago, i got him when he was about 7 weeks. He is the cutest thing every, he mostly sleeps, and i know i got him off to the wrong start. And its my fault. When i got him he didnt have his teeth really, just the front poking through so i couldnt feed him the puppy food i got him, so i just gave him warm milk for the first 2 days. the only thing that seemed to work, then i bought those little cesar things and he likes those and he will eat them but he still cant chew the puppy food. And he poops and pees SO randomly. I read everything therre was to know about potty training and stuff, but i got him so young and i didnt know how to begin with him, couldnt use treats as rewards or anything. He sleeps in a little area under the stairs blocked off with a doggy gate. he has everything he needs in their including pee pads. At first he would go on the pee pads fine, but i guess he now preferes the carpet. This little guy is a devil. Im sure of it. Today i was so fedup with him peeing on the carpet or hardwood that i stayed with him on his puppy pad for about 40 minutes right after he woke up. i finally realized he didnt have to pee or poo so i just swooped him up, took him upstairs with me, put him down for 1 second and BAM. PEE on the hardwood. this seems to happen everytime i try to teach him to pee. Its hard to take himoutside to train him becuase the weather isnt the best and he gets cold. Im having a really hard time training him, maybe i taught him to pee when im not around. Poeple told me to pick hiim up with i see him about to pee and put him where he is suppose to go... well this doesnt work, i put him there and he just looks at my like **** you, i want the carpet. and ill wait... wait... 10...15...20...minutes, and nothing, so i take him out. and BAM. on the carpet.

he doesnt drink water either, so i dont know where all this pee is comming from. he hasnt drank water since he got here, its so wierd... its freaking me out. Everytime i think he doesnt need to pee he pees on the carpet. Or on the REALLY expensive rugs. how do i teach him proper behaviour without loosing my mind and scaring him. Im getting really frustrated and i want to keep him but my parents are just gonna throw him out if this continues...

I would also like to add that becuase of his behaviour i cannot trust him now and it forces me to leave him in his area more and more and more. I dont want to constantly watch my dog to see if its going to ruin my carpet, thats not why i got him.
