I agree make sure the parents are on site, AT LEAST the mother so you can gauge how big the puppies will get when they are full grown. Be weary of breeders advertising tea cup, or worse yet micro. they just do that to charge more money. Sometime they say that to catch the attention of more people, but remember there is no AKC standard of teacup or micro, just Yorkshire terrier between 4-7 pounds. Any smaller than that and many heath concerns can arise. Of course there are plenty of healthy happy 2 pounders out there, but just be careful! Also ask to see the papers and proof of when they were born. Lots of puppy mills will say a pup is older than they really are to make them seem smaller. no responsible breeder will let you take the pup before 12 weeks. They need to be with their mothers and littermates for awhile before they are adopted. any good breeder will welcome ANY questions you have. Good luck with the new furbaby! I'm excited for you!
