I lived in Oklahoma for 35 years. My dad was the fire chief for a very small town in western OK - so he had to storm watch and come into town and blow the fire whistle - to let everyone know bad weather was coming. This was way before the good tracking we have from radar and the like. So, I've spent many a night in the car on the hill outside of town with my mom and dad "storm watching". I've only seen 3 tornadoes in the daylight and they are VERY SCARY! I've spent MANY evenings/nights in the storm cellar!
My husband's son lives in Moore and his home has been hit twice by tornadoes!!!
