That's an excellent idea. I may be he's more open to all the movement around him than he can tolerate at this point in his life. Roxy was fine in her crate belted in the back seat. DH & I were the ones having the problem where we couldn't see her as well or pet her, so got her the Snoozer Console seat. Now we're all fine.
Yours could graduate to the more open seat as he gains a little age/experience.
