Do you think I should just leave him, strapped in, struggling and crying for help? I live very close to where I work and the drive is probably no more than 10 minutes tops, but he has pulled his front leg out of the harness twice and was twisted up in the strap which secures him to the car seat yesterday, so I took him back into my lap at the first stop light. He continued to struggle, cry and tried to crawl up my body as I was navagating the traffic. It was hard for me to keep my "calm, assertive" thoughts from turning into total distress during the drive.
