YIKES Jamie - I am so very sorry. I was out of town when you started this thread last Wednesday. I will keep your brother in my thoughts and prayers. What a terrible accident - a tremendously painful injury. I will definately keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Will he be using a bone stimulator as part of his therapy? When my son shattered his femur (just below the point where it joins his hip) when he was 17 in addition to physical therapy, he used a bone stimulator. The recovery took almost 5 years but 9 years later, Earl's pain in manageable and he is able to do anything he wants to do including working as a welder's apprentice which is a physicaly challenging job.

Please reassure your brother from one who has been there, done that, that THERE IS HOPE that he will get better. Sending and .
