THANK YOU! I see it stated all the time that the standard is 4-7 lbs and that is NOT CORRECT.
The standard per AKC, as you have posted, is "not to exceed 7 lbs." 4-7 lbs may be the average size, or the preferred size (as worded on YTCA's site above) but it is NOT the standard for the breed.
