When my wife was my girlfriend 11 years ago, I had a geriatric lab that panted, shed and farted. My wife didn't have the 15-year-history I did with him, and I know he sometimes drove her nuts. But she never once suggested that I make a choice, and I think that's one of the reasons I knew we'd be a great couple.
If she HAD given me an ultimatum, however, I would have chosen Alex. (It's times like this, I'm glad she doesn't log onto YT!) But that's not the case today. She's my world.
