Thanks everyone. I use a cat collar on him but not the breakaway kind. I "was" out of work for 8 weeks and am so far behind I feel like I will never catch up. All my dogs wear collars 24/7 on the off chance they do get lost.

I have looked on line for new collars/tags for all and I just don't have the $100 it will take. So fo now I am going to cover the vents with a screen and roll under and tape and I will then leave the screws out. (I have old screen on hand so no cost fix)

Another lesson learned. God help us and out lessons.
