Can anyone give me some good game suggestions for a bridal shower? I am hosting one for my best friend this Saturday... and conveniently I have never been to a bridal shower in my life
I have the place booked, I am buying decorations tomorrow, I have someone to cater.... but now what do we do?? I'm not sure how many people will show up, because on top of the invitations I also put up posters in the two grocery stores (we're from a very small town... it's commonly what happens for bridal showers there, and collection envelopes are left for people to donate to the couple).
I will also be buying a shower gift tomorrow, and I have no idea what to get. How much should I spend for a bridal shower gift?
And I'm really hoping people don't get bored with games.. I'm sure there should be time for mingling and things like that too. It's an evening shower so it starts at 7. I'm thinking that as people arrive, I will give them all a little paper for them to write down some advice for the bride, and then put it in a box for her later. I guess we can do a half hour of mingling and then I can start some games for an hour or so. Then she will open gifts, and then people can just mingle until they leave.... does that sound okay? I'm really going into this blind!
