OK, Im going to be the odd one here...
I was going to leave Bella in the kennel when we go on vacation this summer, but after going and talking to them and seeing how they keep them I decided I would find someone to watch her.
The only take them out 3x's a day for 15 min each. They leave at 6 at night come back in the morning. I just thought it would be too much for Bella. She is used to having people around her all the time, and being by herself all day was not what I wanted.
I got lucky....a guy at my husbands shop, his wife was wanting a yorkie and they found one here on base someone was selling. They offered to keep Bella for the month we are gone. We are keeping her yorkie for 2 weeks this month. So it worked out for us. They do not have kids, but even if they did, I would still feel better about leaving her with them rather than the kennel here on base. JMO
I think she would be better off staying with one of your friends with or without kids. |
