5 inside dogs, all pee pad trained, it just happens. Most likely she thinks she is on it, or maybe has her front paws on it. I have it go under the pad quite a lot, which if the pad is still clean, I just wipe the bottom of the pad off and leave it down until it needs changed. Be glad she's peeing close to it and not on the carpet. For some reason, mine always use the pee pad during the day, and at night, the family room berber carpet becomes a giant pee pad. I will be so glad when I can afford to pull this nasty carpet up
