Most of the dogs that they showed were IMO in pretty decent shape, there are so many that are not as fortunate to make it out alive.
The little yorkies and maltese they showed were so sweet it brought tears to my eyes thinking about how they won their freedom and how many were left behind to continue to suffer.
I have to say the I'm in love with the little Yorkie Lovey! I have always wanted to add a little girl and name her that. I've even suggested right here for others to use that name. It's adorable IMO.
The issues of owning a rescue pup are huge and it has always been my wish to have a "rescue forum" here on YT. More and more people are taking the rescue route to add to their family which is wonderful but as you can see from the show they have very different issues that need to be handled differently that other pups.
Finally, I have to say that the rescue that was featured on the show is doing a great job and the show was a HUGE promotion of their efforts. |
I'm in love with Lovey too! She was so adorable, she reminded me so much of my Sophie who looooved to give kisses. She was so sweet, who wouldn't want to be kissed like that 24/7? lol But it is a huge responsility and a lot of work, and patience is needed with rescue dogs. I feel so bad for all they've been thru.
