 Hi everyone
Hello All. This is my first post. I joined this weekend when my little Wendy was nearing the due date for her litter. She went into labor late on Mother's Day Night. Unfortunately we had to have a c-section Monday morning and only one of the four puppies survived. I am having to tube feed the little guy because he is having problems nursing. Luckily, Wendy is feeling good and trying to be a good Mama. I also had to go ahead and have Wendy spayed because the vet said she would be at risk of the same probs if we ever bred again. Please keep your fingers crossed that our little "Braveheart" makes it; he is almost 24 hours old. He is still crying quite a bit, but I am hoping that the crying stimulates his lungs and is not an indication that anything else is wrong. He was having a hard time breathing after he was born, but seems to be doing better today thank goodness. I am trying not to worry too much. Tanya |
