The only reason I want papers from akc is that I ran into a few breeders telling me that akc dropped them and how stupid akc was only to find out that they were breeding multiple breeds in outdoors kennel runs or cages
... I am not a breeder and never imagine that I ever will be, but I did want a happy healthy baby so I sought akc and went to the breeders home ... but I imagine you could find a good breeder just by visiting and playing with the pups ... you can tell if they are used to being around people or are kept in a cage out back.
