I used a baby onesie for Mandie and it worked great! The cone they gave me was too big for her so i just used the onesie when she was at home by herself and at nighttime. I thought for sure she would still get to the stiches but she never did. Although one morning i woke up and she had the onesie off and was chewing on it.. how she got it off... I have no idea!!

She was really sore the first two days. Definately make sure u get pain meds!!!! What the vet told me was that it is very hard for them to completely lick and pull out the stiches. Even if they do the little girls are sewn 3 times , once to close the muscle, once for the fatty tissue and then the outter skin.

Try not to worry too much!
